I'll look again at a four post list. My goal is to not bend too far when polishing the lower half.

Then if all you are looking at is for polishing a scissor is fine, but it's your doe... Oil changes, trans fluid changes, rear fluid changes are still work bending under a mid-rise or scissor.. If I where building a new garage I would go high cellings with a four post because you can still park anot...

I love my 2 post hoist. Need 12.5 to 13 ceiling height. High quality epoxy floor. Lots of plugs I have set of 4 every 6 to 8 feet. Led shop lights. Wire for cable, phone, internet and surround sound before dry wall. Also run wires for door opener button and electric eyes prior to drywall. Windo...

And don't forget a hot tub in the yard to help ease the muscle aches after a day of detailing/polishing/waxing.

Your wife will love it too.
And that'll make it easier to get permission to spend the monies on the lift, stereo, internet, etc.

"2 Black" will stay in storage, but I will wash and wax my Volt. It's the same paint as "2 Black", so it can be used as an test case. Might even purge some stuff in the garage.

Thinking about trading my 2014 ELR for a 2017 Volt. I like the higher range and Apple car play in the Volt.
The Volt will never look as good as the ELR, but it is my daily driver, and I have concerns o...

No telling what Trump will do, but I thing there will be some kind of tax credit or other compensation on RV's for some time yet just to make them more appealing to buyers.

Mine only gets driven in the winter if the roads/weather is clear on the day of our monthly meeting. If I think it warrants a washing then, I take it to the local quarter car wash.

Drove mine into work today. Only wet salt on the road was that within the GM property. Decided since I drove it part of the winter last year, and now have the winter tires, might as well drive it more often in the winter. Have over 97K miles now, and just hoping to keep it until I retire, for the fu...

Not sure what you are asking. If you are asking if any of us use a no rinse solution then the answer is yes. The only way I wash my car is with Optimum No Rinse. But if you are asking can you use a no rinse solution on a winter dirt car the answer is no, it will scratch the heck out of the paint.

I'm with Mike G. I take mine through the car wash, but my Camaro is also my DD. I figure it's better to get the salt/grime off than not, so into the drive thru wash it goes. I just try to either use Jax or the fairly new place by my house. I have an unlimited wash plan for $29.99/month. it's fo...

Optimum No Rinse is a good way to wash your car in the winter. If the car has heavy deposits i will rinse most of it of at a local quarter car wash before using the ONR. My wife's car gets washed in that manner. I recommend before season starts applying a sealant before winter to help protect the pa...

To keep corrosion at bay, it's best to get the underbody flushed each washing as well. That's why my daily goes thru the car wash... no way I can get under the whole car by myself.

I just put NOWEEDS diverters on mine. I couldn't be happier with the quality of them and the ease of the install. Not sure if they have a kit for the 6th gen yet. The cool thing about them is you can control how open they are, and still have flow to the exhaust. And at full open, holy crap!

I have the no weeds with the stock NPP, same as Frank. You can also keep the flaps open on the NPP for a more throaty sound. Not sure what the wiring on a 17 is but i am sure it would be pretty similar.

I leave them half open to still get the NPP note. Makes a big difference. I will say if i open them fully it does just sound like a really really bad exhaust leak. No real musical muscle.

I want a set of winter wheels for my 2014 Cadillac ELR. Problem is that sites like Tire Rack and Belle Tire do not list any wheels for the ELR. Any good local resources I should visit for wheels?

It just might only list what they have at YOUR selected location?
That doesn't make much sense if they could just transfer stock from one store or another, but all I did was to go to their site and used the drop down boxes to select a 2014 Cadillac ELR??

The Volt also has 17 inch rims instead of 20. I am thinking find a 17 inch tire closer in Dia to 27.7. Would the...
