HUGE is an understatement. 1188 feet long, 18 floors, 215 feet wide, 225000 tons, drafting 30 feet in the water. Floating city, 6000+ passengers, 2000+ crew members.

Mike you can tell people how big these ships are, but it really does not sink in until you are standing next to one on the dock in port.

If you do colored concrete, you will need to seal it or the color will fad out, however that doesn't solve the problem that is will be porous and still prone to getting dirty. Best bet is still to have it epoxy sealed.

I got pulled over for speeding on Tuesday. Officer wrote a ticket for impeding traffic. I had to laugh a bit, because I was driving the Volt, not the Camaro. Speeding in a Volt, really.

Did Belle Isle Sunday, but with a bike on the back. Lots of Camaros out. And Mustangs and Challengers. Even happened on what appeared to be a Corvette Club meet-up. They gave me the side-eye when I drove through, probably because of the bike rack.

I was thinking of a cat-back exhaust for April, now I find that since I have a rag top, I can only get an axle-back. Something is better then nothing.

Exhaust systems for verts are different because of added bracing that the exhaust has to clear.

yeah, someone has to make a system for a vert. just because there is added bracing does not mean a system cannot be made. more research is required.

The Gen VI LT1 vert exhaust is crazy complicated with restrictors and active valves and all kinds of tuning features to combat the AFM drone. Probably why just the axle backs, so it would continue to use the factory valves in the pipes ahead of the muffler.

And don't forget a hot tub in the yard to help ease the muscle aches after a day of detailing/polishing/waxing.

Your wife will love it too.
And that'll make it easier to get permission to spend the monies on the lift, stereo, internet, etc.

"2 Black" will stay in storage, but I will wash and wax my Volt. It's the same paint as "2 Black", so it can be used as an test case. Might even purge some stuff in the garage.
